I want to use my 3x4 coop as a brooder for my three week old chickens, broilers and ducks. Can I use a heat lamp the is securely mounted in it? I could do 2-3 60 watt bulbs or 1-2 125 Watt bulbs.

I could screw the brooder lamps into the 2x4s. One of my lamps already has a guard or make a cover with leftover hardware cloth. Hubby is getting tired of the broilers and ducks in the house/bedroom and I need to make room for the Rhodebars that are hatching this week.. Oh and the coops is now in its final position behind our mobile home. The pop door and other unneeded doors will be screwed shut . I can do a test overnight and put them in tomorrow.

I forgot to mention , I have somewhere in the moving boxes yet to be opened a orange under the tank heating cable. Not sure if that is any good in this situation.
