Hello, I am new a BYC, and raising chickens. We have 3 4-5 week old chicks, the California White, and New Hampshire Red are almost feathered, but the Golden Sex Links barely has feathers. Is this normal or is something wrong with her?

The chick appears to be in good condition judging by your picture. Some birds and some breeds just feather in more slowly than others.

I was told she is a Golden Sex Links. She hangs out with the two older chicks and they do not seem to be pecking at her. In fact, she appears to have feathers growing under all her down so hopefully she will feather soon.

Our weather is turning tomorrow and I want to move the older chicks outside. I am debating on if I should put her out too, or keep her in with our new 2-3 week old chicks.

It depends on how warm your weather is. Usually chicks are not put out until they are fully feathered out. She may do well with your younger chicks IF she doesn't bully them.

It is not suppose to get below 69 tonight. I just checked on them and they are all asleep. If it gets colder I will bring her I with the little ones.

This is their first night out, I hope I sleep!
