4/5 Week Old Silkie and 3 Week Old Polish

Hi, not sure exact ages of my chicks but I am having suspicions two of them a roos, just from their faces and their chest size etc ...

Do they look rooish to you??

Silkie chicks are way too young to guess gender wait another 5-6 weeks and post new pics.

While I am highly addicted to silkies... I think you need to send the polish to me so I can see it up close..

hehe, yes she is a cutie and a fiesty madam with my other chicks ... though all my original 4 are now very tame and relaxed, roosting and cleaning while I pet them and not chirping when I pick them up. The new silkies however, they are a nightmare at the mo. I think they came from somewhere they haven't been handled and have been shoved about because they scream the house down as soon as I look at them and poop themselves when I pick them up instantly. They are so fearful. They both have missing toes I've had to bathe ... one had masses of poo stuck to its feet and have made the toes a bit wonky. Hopefully with some time they will start to be like the others .... fingers crossed!

the polish does look a bit like a roo.
