I've been so worried about #1 being more advanced than #2, and how that might cause issues with Mama leaving #2 so she could follow around #1 but you have a great point.
Mama was preening herself this afternoon, while #2 poked its head out once (that I saw) and peeped away merrily- I'm taking that as a good sign that all is well under her.
I'll take #1 out tonight once everyone's asleep in the barn.
