I am posting for your advice and ideas. I am planning a Poultry Sale/Fair for 4-H kids.
I have permission from our county fair board to use our Switzerland County Fair Grounds, Saturday, April 17, 2010.
I have had this dream to get together 4-H kids and poultry breeders to give the 4-Hers access to more types of exhibition poultry and be able to ask questions of experienced poultry breeder about raising poultry.
I have tons of ideas but I am hoping to get advice from those of you who have planned a swap, chickenstock type event on what works and what will not.
I want it to be fun, educational, have better than average poultry for the kids to purchase and poultry products they can buy too. I thought to have chickens, ducks, geese, etc displayed so the kids could see the real thing?
