now that the camera isn't broken I finally got pictures of the coop! its 95% recycled and the chicken wire was free too. Its pretty heavy but we can move it with two dollies, and we havent lost any chickens to predators while using it. Both of the long sides open down and there is a door on each of the short ends at the bottom. There are roosts and cat litter boxes for nesting. The ends are chicken wire for the summer but can be covered in winter with tarps as a wind break while maintaining good ventilation. its 9.5 x 4 on both levels, and it works well as a holding place while the dogs are out in the morning until its time to let the chickens into the yard to free range more freely...
