4 months old chick with legs slightly spread,help

Matt is a 4 months old male Pekin
I didn’t realised he had spread legs as a baby chick as he walked and run everywhere. We even thought his way of walking was funny.
The problem is that when he evacuates his poop stays often glued to his bottom.
I have trimmed his back feathers but most of the time I have to wash his back.
I was wondering if I could use the elastic to bring his legs closer or is it too late ?

I’ve added some photos, the spread is very slightly. He walks like a sailor coming out of the sea.

I don't think he has splay legs. Have you checked for bumble foot or something stuck under his feet that might hurt?
