Mom is a Blue Olive Egger and dad is a Buff Ameraucana/Legbar hybrid. Hatched the same day. Is this a female pea comb for a 4-week-old? Another hatchmate (Buff one in 2nd photo) has the same pea comb that is larger and dark pink, so clearly male. I just though this shape pea comb was always male...I'm confused.

4-week-old.

They both have pea combs, which can be variable in appearance. I think the one on the left is probably a female, but a bit too early to be sure. The one on the right you already know is a cockerel.

I would guess your OE is a female but it may be too early to tell. Some people say that if you can see 3 distinct rows in a pea comb, it means cockerel. I'm not convinced that's true but I do believe the distinct rows are more visible in the males because they're redder and larger.

I agree with this.
