I have a 4 week old Splash Marans who is stumbling around. She started yesterday. It looks like she is really dizzy.

She is eating and drinking like normal. Her poo is normal, too.

She hasn’t had any enviornment, or food changes. She gas been vaccinated for Mareks and was on medicated chick crumble. Along woth her daily feed, she eats greens and dried worms now, as treats. (has been for almost 2 weeks)

She does feel hot to the touch. Much hotter than the others.

Should I go agead and give ger antibiotics, or garlic?

I am giving her probiotic water.

Please help.

Is she eating right now or drinking? At her age, a stumbling or dizzy chick could have coccidiosis, or be dehydrated. I would go get Corid and treat the water for 7 days. Dosage is 1.5 tsp of Corid powder or 10 ml of liquid Corid per gallon of water. Until you get Corid give the chick poultry NutriDrench or chick vitamins with electrolytes.

She is eating and drinking. But lethargy and stumbling increasing.

She was pooping fine, but now only white coming out.

I just picked up a bunch of stuff that I hope might help...Corid, backyard chicken healthy flock tabs (not sure if I will use,) and nutri drench.

I hope it will help.

Should I put it in their water then? I have two flocks right now.

6, including her, who are 3-4 weeks old in one brooder.

Another 5, 4 days old, in another brooder.

Thank you so much for the help.

She is still the same, no better, no worse. Still eating, drinking and pooping.

She is hot to the touch, like she has a fever and has a very hungry appetite.

She stumbling a little more and whining a little more.
