4 week old chicks flipping over

Hello all new chick mom here

I lost a baby chick today to bring to cold (We didn't have a heat lamp the breeder said we didn't need one) and I've got the heat lamp but they just keep falling over under it I'm not sure if this is normal ...
Don't laugh I've been sitting next to them for over an hour I've never seen them do this is it normal or are they dying too?

What is the temp in the brooder....? Can they move away from the heat?

Are they eating and drinking normal? I am not sure what you mean by flipping over?

Yea they get right up and I've moved the heat lamp higher up but they are just kind of plopping on there sides and spreading there wings out and if I peak over the box they get startled and get up and then plop right over on there side again

And yes they are eating and drinking they are not lethargic either

Sounds more like sun tanning to me...They will and do lay on their sides...They will also flap their wings and kick their legs,If you give them sand they will dust bath in it...They sound fine...

As long as they are not panting they are fine...

Ok great I'll keep an eye on them and I'll let you guys know how they r I thought maybe sun bathing but wasn't sure
