4 week old chicks with thei mom mom

Her's a picture of my hen Lady Madonna with her five chicks age 4 weeks. At night they still snuggle with her. I am wondering how these chicks will be different than the ones raised without moms. Will they still recognize her as mom a year from now?

Awwwwwwwww...How cute!!!! I jsut love seeing a momma and her babies!! Thanks for shareing! As far as them knowing a year from now, she is momma.....im not sure.

Wow, she's pretty, and looks like a great Mom!
Don't know about the 'Mom' after a year question, but I have heard that some hens develop bonds with others, so, who knows?
