4 weeks old. Do they need more protein?

As I said they are 4 weeks old. They are ALWAYS hungry. I am wondering if they need a little extra protein to help curb their appetite. I have 5 chicks and they are eating about 2 cups of crumbles a day.

Not sure if they need more protein or not but mine were ALWAYS eating. I think its just a "growing" thing.

It's a growing thing. They eat like pigs always.

I'm pretty sure all the nutrients they need are in the starter/grower at that age....I keep crumbles out for mine 24/7........

If you're feeding a Starter with 20% protein, that's enough. Keep it before them at all times. Never let the feeders go empty.
