My 4 week old brahma has crooked feet/toes. I just noticed this today. She seems to move around and balance on the perch just fine. Im not sure how to address this or if it will resolve its self. My 6 other chicks are just fine. Ive attached pictures of her feet.

Curled toe deformities can only be helped in chicks a few days old by taping the toes in normal place. Unfortunately, it is too late, and any treatment could be painful and not successful. Many chickens including hatchery birds have this problem, and most do well. I had one hen whose was particularly bad, but she was able to roost easily on a 2x4 roost with the wide side up.

The deformity doesnt seem to slow her down right now and the others are not picking on her. The board I have for them to practice roosting is not very high and she seems able to hop up and perch. No balance issues. In your experience, do you think she will be ok with the deformity?
