4H county fair time, question...

We are first timers and I am reading over my notes for bathing a chicken for the county fair prep. Today is bath day!

In my notes it says to use Glycerin in one of the rinse tubs... I have the stuff, but I am not sure how much to put into my huge container of water... Ideas?

I don't use glycerin. I wash, using a whiting shampoo if you have white birds, then do a rinse with vinegar and water (vinegar cuts the soap) then clear water rinse.
