My 4 week old chicks have had mushy and sometimes watery stools for the past week. They are inside the house in a brooder, but I have brought them dirt to play with, and sticks from outside. It hasn't worsened over the past week (or more?) but it hasn't gotten super firm either. They're getting a 22% protein feed (because of early feather pecking in a couple, and that seemed to help). Is it enough to just give them hydro hen, or should I give them aprolium? Thanks!

Editing to add that they came unvaccinated

Ah, pictures would have been a good idea! I just cleaned their area up but I'll take pics when I notice it again! Some of them curl up with a bit of white at the end (saw two like that just before posting this) but I feel like I'm seeing (noticing?) more of the mushy/watery ones?

My chicks and Rooster's poo looks different constantly. When my rooster was younger and in the garage, he had very watery movements, and now that he is coop, it isn't. I think it had to do with the environment. He was getting plenty of water and there was no 'over heating' or body regulating. I am always checking out all the chicks poo.
