5 1/2 month Pullet laid an egg without a shell.

Not sure which one did it. BUT IT happened. I give them nutrena organic layer pellets. Should I supplement with shell and or organic cottage cheese or yogurt? Not sure what happened. I did receive an egg that was very soft shell last week. Is this normal for young layers?

It can happen. I find one once in a while. I would always have oyster shell available, but even with that, it would still happen-once in a while
