New to the site, fairly new to backyard chickens.....Added 5 girls to the household this spring: 1 Salmon Faverolle, 1 Ameracauna, 3 GoldenLaced Wyandottes. All between 17 and 19 weeks old. All funny and beautiful, Matilda, the Faverolle is the "class clown"....I guess we should have some eggs soon...First time chicken keeper, lots to learn. We live in a smaller town near Madison WI. I know I will have questions re "winterizing" the girls coop and pen. I am looking forward to ideas and input from other backyard chicken keepers!
