My 3 girls are each about 5 months old. In the last few days, 2 have been singing the egg song and one is also squatting in front of my daughter. One, however, who is NOT the "alpha" of the three has become extremely loud, perching up high and biting the neck of her best friend. REALLY uncharacteristic of her. I feel like they're going to lay an egg any day now. They might have already and i just cant find it...they free range in my fenced backyard. Are there any "typical places" i should be checking? They have a nesting area in their coop with straw and two egg-shaped rocks in there. Am i going to have to lock them in to ae sure they lay in there?
