$5 plucker test drive today...

Hey everyone,
I finally got around to testing my $5 plucker today. I only had one bird to test it on, but I did him from kill to chill in under 5 minutes. I had to hand-pluck a bit, but thanks to a good scald, the feathers almost fell out on their own!

In 5 minutes is great, DH built a plucker this week, today iss the day to try it out on the 4 meaties that are starting to have leg problems. Way to go !

Thanks! Best of luck with your fatties. Concentrate on getting a good scald (145 degrees until the primary flight feathers pull out easily) and you will be in good shape.
