What would you do in this situation? I used to have a bigger flock, but then came a raccoon....and ate a HUGE meal!

My 2 poor hens, they do belong to one of the roos, but the other boys like to try to get their turn as well. Try finding people who want a bunch of roosters, not very easy to do. One of the hens is missing some feathers on her back now from being mated with so ofter, poor girl. So, I ask, what do you do with over twice as many roosters as hens?

P.S. I dont think I cold ever cull them...

Find four of the roosters homes or get lots more hens. Don't automatically assume no one wants roo. Put up signs "free roosters" and tell everyone you meet that you have roosters to give away.
Yes, the roos may wind up in someone's crock pot, but you have to think of your poor hens.

i b ought a quad of silkies they were suposed to be one male and 3 girls...well i now have 3 roos and 1 pullet so i keep the boys outside and i keep her inside.....when she is ready to mate i will bring in one roo........maybe it will work for you ........ronnie

Can you separate the roos from the hens for awhile, maybe keep 1 roo with the hen? Find a few hens about the same size as your existing hen. After quarantining for 30-40 days, add to your flock.
Just a thought. Good luck!
