First looks to be male, the other female. If you look at the feathering, cockerels get a double dose of the barring gene, making them lighter in color than males. So a male will have light feathering, while females have darker feathering.

I thought so too but the first has not displayed Any male behavior, like the others I have.

Often they don't display that behavior until much older... I had the sweetest polish that was my best friend until he started flogging me and had to go at 12 weeks.
