5 week old barred rocks

I got 3 barred rocks at 4 weeks old. All healthy and eating and dust bathing and roosting and doing all sorts of chickeny things. One is growing at twice the rate of the others. Anyone know why? The others are growing but one has doubled it's size in a week and a half. What gives?

This one was marginally bigger than the other 2 when they came home with us. I don't have any good pics of them together.

Looks pullet to me.

I don't know but the coloring of the pic on the bottom is MUCH lighter than the ones on the top. That looks rooish to me. I am no expert but I am pretty dang good at picking out all roos.

on the breed index, I saw a few nights ago pictures of male vs female. The female gets a black stripe down the front of the leg. YOu might want to look up the thread.
