5 Week Old Silkies

Hey!
What vibes are you getting on these babies? Hen or roo?
Also, is chick 2 a silkie or mix? Was sold as a silkie, but looks totally different.

I won't venture gender guesses, but chick 2 is not a pure silkie.

I didn’t think so. He/she is still a cutie, but there are some very obvious differences.

Silkies take a very long time until you can tell what they are. You should post updated pictures when they're 8 weeks old. Chick 1's comb is a bit suspicious though. But again, silkies are tricky. I've had some that I thought would be cockerels at this age and then they turned out to be hens.

Chick 2 is definitely a silkie mix.
