My friend saved two peacock eggs when the mother left them so he got an incubator to hatch them. One hatched two months ago and the other 5 weeks ago. So they hatched a couple weeks apart. At two months the first one that hatched passed away and we have no idea why since he seemed to be doing really well. He has them inside the house in a room with a set up that was recommended at murdochs with heat lamps and everything. He changes out the water daily with new bowls, feeds them game feed starter and worms and they were doing great. The first one that hatched grew in weight significantly and showed no signs of being sick before he passed away yesterday. We’re so sad that the chick didn’t make it and I’m worried about the other chick that is 5 weeks old. Will he be okay alone now? Could it be from parasites since he had them inside the house and the room and area were clean and they were given fresh bowls and food daily? Any advice or tips to keep this other chick thriving would be greatly appreciated. I really want to help this friend out and the chick but neither of us have experience with peachicks or any chicks.

For worms I'd give Safeguard orally and for cocci I use Toltrazuril in the water.
The peachick seems to be having a hard time not stumbling and falling as it tries to move around. I read it could have issues with its legs from the game starter feed we had him on since that food was too high in protein, which we didn’t know. We switched to purina medicated start and grow and we have him on sav-a-chick electrolytes and the chick is doing better but what can we do now to get the little guy more stable? I feel so bad. I’ve attached a you tube link.
