I've been eagerly awaiting getting the chickens outside into the coop. And that day finally arrived! Here's most of them. They don't even mind that I'm standing in the coop with them. Check out the photos on my profile for progress pictures and other random contraptions I'm working with.

i let mine outside today,3 weeks and 2 days, flying like quail, they love it,i have golden campines

Thanks for the replies. :)

So, the chickens didn't take long to get used to the coop after 2 days and I let them out into the covered starter pen. They were nervous to navigate the exit ramp at first, but I threw in a few handfuls of fresh clover and they couldn't get out fast enough. lol. I've been giving them clover for weeks, so they are very familiar with it.

They needed an assist making it back into the coop at the end of the day yesterday, but today they were on top of it. Since there are a lot of birds of prey here, they'll only have access to the coop and starter pen (not the whole run) for awhile, so I was glad to see they enjoyed the space.

I ordered a 100' x 100' bird net to drape and fasten over the top of the run and it will be here in a few days. Hopefully, setting up the netting doesn't turn out to be a nightmare. Fingers crossed!

I'd be very interested to know how the netting works out for you! We're trying to figure out a way to cover about 600 sf of run. Please post pics when you get a chance.

I definitely will post a series of photos on it. I anticipate getting it done by mid-next-week...but that's just how it seems on paper. Slinging a 10,000 sqft net will probably pose some unique challenges, so I formally reserve the right to be late on my expected completion date! But check my galleries -- I recently uploaded a pics to photo-document some of my setup...I'm especially proud of the run... :)
