These girls are 5 weeks old and so far I see nothing that indicates they are roos, but I have read a few different times that EE pullets tend to have certain coloring. How about these ladies? Are they ladies?

This is Daisy. I have 3 who have very similar coloring--Daisy and the two in the next pic. Daisy is the largest, but otherwise they're pretty similar.

These are Wendy and Maisy.

This is Tweety (my 7 year old named her

.) She is the only one I have with this coloring.

Finally is Felicity. She is the only reddish one of the bunch.

I really hope these are all pullets. Our 3 Black Australorps are all roos

and the jury is still out on my Light Brahmas. (Look for them in another post!) Thanks.

Edited to add: I am now highly suspicious of Daisy and Tweety. They are the first and third pic in the original post. Here they are today at 6 weeks.

Tweety (the silver one) has been getting all jumpy with one of my BA roos. Her comb looks a bit pink. Here is a pretty good side view of her along with her face.

And another shot. I couldn't get a good close up of her face, but her comb doesn't have 3 distinct pea rows yet, but it is wider than my 3 EE who are the same age who are almost certainly hens. It's a bit pink, though it looks darker in the pics than it does in real life. It doesn't look as dark as my known roos (not EEs though), but it is darker than my pullets.

Here is Daisy up close.

And from the top. I've seen nothing rooish in her behavior and she pretty much just blends in with the crowd. Her comb is a bit pink. No wattles, though. I think her coloring looks girly, doesn't it?

I know I just need to be patient. It's so hard!

So Tweety is a silver...she is gorgeous. The picture doesn't do her justice. She's a sweet bird as well. Definitely one of our favorites.

Do the brown and red ones have names for their coloration?

Technically none of them do - As they're crossbred. But, when basing it on true Ameraucanas or just plain chicken colors - The white and black one is closest to the Silver variety, and the brown ones are a very common EE color I just call "mock partridge" or "mock wheaten."

I wouldn't hold my breath on them all being pullets, EEs can be tough until you see the hackles and saddle feathers pointing out. A couple of them look a bit thick in the legs to me too.

I posted some new pics from today in the first post. I'm highly suspicious of Tweety and somewhat suspicious of Daisy. Opinions welcomed.

I agree with your suspicions on Tweety. Watch the next couple of weeks for some saddle feathers, i think you are going to see some. The rest still look girly.
