We have a 14 week old 55 flowery hen. She is absolutely beautiful. Small bird. Shy but will let you hold her. Does anyone know if they go broody? Or how they are as mothers. We would love to breed her when she is old enough but I can’t find very much info on them! This is daisy. Also, her tail feathers look pretty bad. We got her like this. Should we be helping her out with that? New chicken mama here if you couldn’t already tell

If she doesn’t go Broody than an incubator would be a good idea and no need to help her with her feathers she will molt them out over time
Awesome thank you! We were hoping to have our chickens raise their own. But incubation would be a possibility in the future for us.

55s are leghorns. I surely wouldn't be holding my breath on her going broody.
