5weeks old and CROWING!!??!!

Okay, my 5 week old banty frizzle cochin mutt cross is trying to crow. I guess that answers the rooster/hen question already. I though his daddy was precocious crowing at 9 weeks, but 5 WEEKS!!!! come on. I really wanted to keep him too. I can't post new pictures because the baby chewed on the camera cord and it won't work anymore, but he's pretty cute in an awkward, funny looking kind of way.

Certainly, I've had that experience with my Barred Rocks. The last batch I hatched were crowing at 4-5 weeks and so were a couple of the Speckled Sussex boys, if you can really call it crowing, LOL.
