I have a EE and a GLW, both about 6.5 weeks old now. Any guesses on gender?

I'm not sure on the GLW, I am not familiar with the breed. If I had to take a guess, the comb would make me say cockerel, but it could be lighting on it.
As for the EE, it seems to have pretty feminine patterning. I would watch out for a comb still, but from this picture, I am leaving towards pullet.

The EE has practically no come and what little is there is flesh/yellow colored

The Glw's comb is pretty much still the same size as when I got them at 2 weeks old. It has some pink to it but no red at all. The beginning of waddles just started the past few days.

I'm pretty sure the glw is a roo, I had one that looked just like it last year. He turned out absolutely stunning . Six weeks is normally pretty early for a pullet to have little wattles and I can see some started already. He will be beautiful though.

If the GLW is a roo I will have to rehome him... no roos allowed where I live :-(

It's always a bummer when you've raised them from little babies and have to rehome them. I had to rehome mine last year too. Roosters aren't allowed within city limits here. I would give it more time just to be certain.

Already gave away one roo and I have one still in the coop that will need to go (no crowing yet) so I'm hoping it's just a faster maturing pullet

Just thought I would update this and say that both birds ended up being pullets... my "GLW" however looks like it may actually be a blue laced, the feathers that used to look black now look a nice dark gray

Thank you... they are about 15 weeks old now. I can't wait to see what she looks like full grown, it was a pleasant surprise that she has ended up a blue color
