6-7 week old chicks. Gender?

Looking for their gender. And some advice to do distinguish gender in chicks for the future. Much appreciated.

Are those amber links? The white looks like roo and the brownish one a hen.

Males tend to grow and pink up their comb faster. That's the early sign.

They're an odd mix. The white is leghorn and legbar. And the brown one is hybrid mix and legbar.

Oh, the brown one looks just like an amber link I had. I'll stick with my original feelings. Leghorns can get big combs, females too, so wait for other characteristics like the saddle feathers growing in long and pointy.

Iam going to guess pullets on both. The white one has a bigger comb, but since she has leghorn in her, im not going to worry about. Plus, it's not terribly large.

Too young to be certain of either. In two more weeks, it should be pretty obvious if one is male.
