Not barring. Think of them as growth rings, or uneven speed the feathers grew out at. I see this in blue chickens quite often.View attachment 3926377
Barring? Weird juvenile feathers that will molt out and leave typical pullet feathers? Idk, but these and that comb are why I'm leaning cockerel but with absolutely no certainty. My two barred birds (legbar and legbar based olive egger) has significantly less obvious barring at that age. Even now at 16, almost 17, weeks it's easy to miss at a quick glance
