6 baby chicks new to our home ( :

Hi Guys,

My husband surprised me with a coop in my backyard when I got home from work the other day. Shortly after that, a run was built and 6 baby Easter Eggers are in a brooder in my living room. Yep, things sure happen fast in our household. We are new to chickens and he and the kids are very excited to take on this journey. We are the new little farm. 2 cats, 2 dogs, a hamster, 6 chicks.... what else could you want?!

Have you considered brooding them directly in their coop with a brooder plate? It's much healthier for them and MUCH less mess in your house.
