I am dead serious. My kids grabbed the dog as he flew at them, and they ran for the house. They said the truck was blue, but didn't recognize it. I didn't see anything. Cops are so darn slow to respond out here. Thankfully my kids weren't standing by the dog. My yard is an acre and my kids were by their tree swing, so I don't think he noticed the kids, which is probably why he shot at the dog, cause he thought the dog was outside alone. But the kids saw everything. But not from an angle, or a close enough distance, to catch a license plate. I'm going to be watching for that truck from now on though. Kids said it was a blue pick up with a red stripe. I'll be watching closely, with cell phone in hand...

And people wonder why I want to live way up in the mountains where there are no people. I'm not anti-social, society is falling apart.

It is a universal disease. I am glad you, your kids and your doggie are unhurt physically. I am stunned that someone would do that. Here in Minnesota, these Lutheran folks are just to nicey nice to do something like that, it would take a foreigner from outta state to do something crazy like that! Yah, Ole would never shot at my dog er I'd call Sven to go chase 'im down and give 'im what for. Up here we sit down to a good meal of hotdish and jello for dessert and settle things nice like. Youbetcha.
