These eggs are the result of a black/splash mating, so will only hatch blue chicks, no black or splash. The blacks are true blacks, not from a BBS mating, and produce much nicer lacing. Here is a pullet hatched from my stock (thanks Katy!):

It's something we have done as a family for 28 years and our kids were small...we go to Colorado for a friends and family reunion at some friends' ranch way back off the beaten path.....We grandparents, our kids, and the grandkids. Nothing to do but hike, fish and spend time together....it's great, and the only time I can get my hubby off the tractor...although you'll often find him on their tractor helping them hay!!!
