Hello!
I am a new chickie-momma and I need some help sexing, and identifying some of, my 6 chickie babies! We purchased each of them as day olds. The first 5 are about 4 weeks old now and my Silkie is about 3 weeks.

Golden laced Wyandotte or Sebright bantam?
-Wing and tail feathers showed early on.
Pullet or Roo?

Presumably a Dutch Bantam and possibly a pullet?
-Wing and tail feathers showed early on.

Cochin or Braham bantam?
-Wing and tail feathers appeared later on after about a week.

Unsure of breed. It is a bantam. Thought to be a Rosecomb bantam but only a slight show of the comb and it appears to be black.
-Wing and tail feathers showed early on.
Pullet or Roo?

French Cuckoo Maran
-Wing and tail feathers showed early on.
Our guess is a Roo because of the thick legs and large comb, but we read that hens are darker in color, so unsure for now.

Silkie bantam
-Wing feathers showed at 2 days old.

Champ looks like a Golden Sebright roo.
Not sure about breed on Sparrow, but looks like a pullet. Maybe Silver Pencil Cochin?
Meep looks like a roo, leaning towards some kind of Cochin.
Raven looks like a pullet. Not sure on the breed, I have an Easter Egger mix that looks very similar.
Gaston looks like a roo.
No telling on Mandark yet, too young - silkies are ridiculously hard to gender. I thought two of my silkies were roos right up until I caught them laying at 6-8 months.

Thank you for the feedback! It would be awesome if our little Sparrow turns out to be a Silver Pencil Cochin, the chicks definitely look similar!

Champ I believe, is a sebright cockerel. Sparrow, Raven and Gaston I think are pullets, but I'm not sure about those two's breeds. Meep and Mandar are too young for me to tell yet. Can you post more pics of everybody in a few weeks? Awesome names btw.

Thank you!! I will most definitely post more pics in a few weeks I am hoping Gaston is a hen!

Champ is a golden Sebright roo

Sparrow is a silver duckwing old English game bantam pullet

Meep is a mottled Cochin bantam rooster

Raven is a pullet, not sure of breed, you believe she may be a rosecomb, does she have one? I can’t tell if it is a rosecomb or small single comb

Gaston looks like a pullet

Mandark, white silkie, unknown gender

Edit: I was thinking Meep was 2ish weeks then reread your post saying 4 weeks so I am not sure about Meep, although he or she looks like he or she has a red comb I don’t see wattles which I’ve noticed on roo chicks at 3 weeks, maybe a late bloomer

Update on this chickie, he is 7 weeks now and we really want to know what kind of chicken he/she might be
