We hatched chicks this summer and lo and behold we ended up with two roos!
This is the quintessential rooster, everything you would expect him to be. He's loud, he's proud and handsome! Keeps the girls in order and protects the flock. However, he and our toddler are not a good mix, so we are keeping the one that doesn't show any interest in her and this guy is looking for a new place to call home.
We are hoping to find him a flock to care for not a pot to end up in.
He is a brown leghorn, approximately 5-6 months old.
