6+ Narragansett Turkey Eggs

I have a small flock of beautiful Narragansett turkeys who are laying large and extra-large eggs with verified fertility. In order to deliver the freshest eggs for hatching, these eggs are shipped from GA. in half-dozens (extras included when available) no later than Wednesday of each week. I will continue to offer eggs as long as we can verify fertility for the season. **Buyer pays shipping costs of $15; hatch rates not gauranteed due to variability of handling during shipping.**

how big do they get. what are your fertility rates look like and are you NPIP certified?

Because they are a heritage breed, they grow slower than say a domestic white; so they need about 8+ months to reach a harvestable weight (jakes about 18-20 lbs., hens about 11-14 lbs.)rather than 5-6 months. Older Toms (in their second year) can reach 30 lbs, and older hens can reach 18 lbs. We have a 1:2 ratio of toms to hens, so fertility is currently at 100%. I have my own turkeys in the incubator as we speak, all twelve developing nicely at day 8. While we have applied for GA NPIP status, we have not yet received the paperwork. It is for this reason, as well as because of the heat we experience for much of the year in GA., that we do not ship poults.

Very nice (i really don't care about the NPIP cert because of my quarantine protocols but my ma is nuts about it). will you have eggs next monday? And how much would 4 egg's cost?

I will have eggs next Monday, but they won't be able to ship out until Tuesday because of the holiday. Four eggs will be $20, plus $15 shipping, for a total of $35.

lol's yeah i ordered some meat bird chicks once and i didn't ask where they where coming from it turns out they came from a neighbor 2 blocks from me i could have walked there

and i don't like to ship hatching eggs over 5 states away but everything looks in order. i should get payed on Wednesday but i always give my bank 2-3 days to process the money after some problems about a year ago.
