Sorry some of the girls back feathers are thin because Mr. Cochin has been breeding them ALOT! There are only 2 hens and he is overzellous. I am currently hatching some more ladies for him so he doesnt tare them up so much.

You know, I dont show and to be perfectly honest....I dont know as much about the cochins as I do the silkies, but I can tell you these are excellent quality birds. I got all my breeders from vicki pittman and she only breeds excellent qualitly birds. I had more birds than just the black trio, but I lost all my blues to a melicius neighbor that put some kind of poison just outside my chicken run wher they could reach. It was powdery and they probably thought it was there layer mash. They all fell ill and died with 2 days. But I would really think they would be show quality...they look much better than some of them I have actually seen at the fairs and shows near me. LOL I hope that helps. JEN
