On November 26th I ordered 3 female chicks from Meyer Hatchery. But within the first week the Black Copper Marans seemed bigger and by week 2 was pecking at my dog in a protective way. By 6 weeks old she/he is still the largest (with a blue Ameraucana, Buff Orpington, and Cream Legbar for flockmates). And comb is largest too.
Here are pictures, beginning with most recent. Did I get an accidental roo?

I've got a BCM who turned out to be a cockerel. I wasn't even asking about his gender until he was 8wo. I don't see any of the colored feathers that made me begin to wonder.

What do you guys see that makes you sure he's a cockerel. I'm not arguing with you at all. I'm attempting to learn what I'm not seeing.

I'm curious too. I'm new to bcm's but the chick's posture, face shape, and leg thickness make her/him stand out from the others to me.

Personally, the comb/wattles on this particular Marans aren't developed enough to make me believe it's 100% cockerel. In fact, nothing's screaming male as of now. :) Attached are my two Black Coppers at around 6 weeks, for reference.

Thank you, Alex!!! That gives me hope!
You're more than welcome. :) Don't lose heart yet, there's still a good chance your little one is a pretty pullet (which I'm leaning towards, in fact). We shall know more in another few weeks.
