6 week old chicks…all boys?

9 chicks hatched in my classroom incubator and have been raised by a sweet broody momma. They are looking boyish to me, but do you see any girls here as well?🤞🏻Thank you!

My goodness! I think you assumption is correct that you nailed the cockerel lottery here!

Very nice looking birds though. Great photography as well!

Your question mark bird is a legbar mix. I'm scanning the pics and can't see his shanks, but if they are feathered he looks to be mixed with a Brahma.

For a Marans, yes. Those feathers are actually called "lancets". They are a signature Marans attribute, along with the dark chocolate egg and feathered shanks. And like most everything in life, the more profound those attributes are, the more desirable the chickens appearance would be said to be 👍
