Hello. We are brand new to Backyard Chicken raising. About 6 weeks ago, we adopted six little ones: 3 cochin bantams, 1 silkie, and two Australops. I have had animal care experience in my past (Was an Animal Science major in college, interned at zoos and worked with dogs for a number of years before going back to school to become an RN). I have never had the opportunity to learn what clues to look out for when gendering chickens, besides when they are much older. We were told the Australops were female but I wanted to double check. Here are 5 of the babies, our 6th has crossbeak and is much smaller and is taking her/his time growing.

This is Maleficent aka "Millie". She's our most social and curious of the bunch. She was one we were told was female, but her comb size is much wider than our other Australop.

Ursula was a little camera shy, so I had to scoop her up to get a better photo of the comb.

Bellweather/ Cruella/Gaston (we're still deciding on this one's name) Very shy and runs away any time we try and handle.

Puff also would not cooperate so I can only get one good pic.

Last but not least, Madam Leota. She's friendly as well, and definitely becoming the bird in charge of our tiny flock.

Any assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated.

1 is a Silver Laced Wyandotte cockerel.

2 and 3 are also cockerels, not sure on breed.

4, not sure, Silkie’s are generally pretty hard to accurately sex until either their adult feathers come in to show streamers, hackle and saddle feathers or until they crow or lay eggs.

5 is a Wyandotte pullet.

ETA: I’m no expert, just putting my opinion out there to see what others say.
