6 week old lavender Orpington, pullet or cockerel?

Cockerels can be very friendly. So I wouldn’t base anything on behavior. That little crest on her head makes me think there is some Legbar in her background. I say her because the comb is not enough to go off of right now. I’ve been fooled by Orpingtons with early comb development that was bigger and redder than hers. That Orpington is still laying eggs so wait until about 12 weeks when it should be more evident. Keep us posted!
Yes, my dad insists that Lucky is a cockerel but I doubt it because her crest is not even red and there is almost no sign of wattles, compared to her brother's very long and extremely bright red comb and noticeable bright red wattles. About her brother—her brother is friendly too, but he can get aggressive at times, especially during his hormonal surges, and can get very protective of Lucky during these times and show mating aggression towards her and try to mate with her, whereas Lucky never gets aggressive like this and is docile and will snuggle inside your shirt and fall asleep in it, leading me to think that she is a pullet.

Her brother has 5 toes, but she does not, so I think they are half-siblings since they share a lavender Orpington mom. Her brother might be half silkie.
I hatched some silkie mixes, they didn't all have 5 toes, but that is a sure sign that they are. I've really enjoyed my silkie mixes.
