Hey y'all,
So I am new to (posting on) this forum, so hello! I am also new to owning backyard chickens, but I work in animal husbandry (exotics, to be specific).
I currently own 4 six-week-old Rhode Island Red pullets - or so I was told. I have been thinking for a while now that one may be a roo. She has been feathering much slower than her sisters and has a very upright posture. However, something that makes me hold onto the idea that she might be a female is that her comb is so small and is still very much yellow, and her demeanor is pretty friendly and laid back.
Here's a picture of the chick in question - S/he is the one on the right.
Thoughts?
Thank you!
Brianna
