Chirping
I have 6 pullets that are fabulous little girls ( 6 wks old this Saturday). However over the last 2 weeks I've noticed one of them tends to bully the others when she wants food or a treat. She will either chest bump them out of the way, flap her wings at them or now I've caught her jumping on and then right off their back! This pullet has always been the smallest one and was always the one being bumped out of the way before the last 2 wks. I've chalked it off to determining pecking order and that she's just decided she's done getting bullied but I worry about the jumping on their backs.
The 2 times I've seen her do it the one she jumped on gets mad and raises a big ruckus with her but then in another second all is calm between them. Is this normal and is it something I just need to monitor and let them figure it out for themselves?
I keep their feeder full and give treats occasionally so I can't see that it's because she's hungry and doesn't have ample access to food. This is a picture of her if it helps any...she can be so sweet and will eat out of your hand but she can also be skittish too. She has 2 of the other pullets that she is really buddies with but one of the 2 episodes was with a buddy.
