I have a large outdoor flight pen with several adults. We have 3 roosters and probably 30 hens. They laid a ton of eggs and we incubated them and succesfully have grown them to 6 weeks . I put several of them in the flight pen with the adults and they acted very scared and timid. 3 of them have now died. Is there something else I could be doing to prevent this?

Not put them in with the adults! My older birds kill the younger birds!

The older pheasants will see them as intruders and kill 'em. Keep them separated out until their colors and tail feathers start developing a little more. Figure roughly 12 to 16 weeks of age. You will still have to watch closely since the existing roosters may still do the territorial battles with any young 'roos. You can get them to live as one colony, you just have to add the babies at a older age and with caution.

You may want to try taking out your roosters for a day and put the smaller ones in there and then put your older ones back in after awhile. It will confuse the older roosters so they won't think it's only there females. If that doesn't work make a pen next to the older ones so they can be next to each other and maybe get used to each other.
Good Luck
