7.5 week old chicks (new breeds to me) - sexing guesses

These chicks are just a bit shy of 8 weeks and I have no clue! These are new breeds for me and I’m finding them more difficult than normal to guess.

2 dark brahmas, 2 buff brahmas, and 1 lavender Orpington

I’d appreciate your insight. Thank you all!

The lavender orp is a cockerel, neahmas are slow to mature si it may be too early yet.

If your Dark Brahmas have black chests, I believe that means they’re males. I’d keep an eye on them and see how they finish feathering in.

The Orpington is a cockerel, and so are the dark Brahmas. I am suspicious of Buff Brahma 1 because of the uneven coloring with deeper patches on the back and shoulders. It bears watching. I think the second buff Brahma is probably a pullet but still too early to call it.

The Lavender Orpington is definitely a cockerel, and the Dark Brahmas are cockerels as well. The Buff Brahmas are likely to be pullets.
