7 week old chicks

I have 6 RIRs that are about 7 weeks old. I'm still trying to get through the bag of chick starter. When should they start on the grower formula?

You can keep giving them straight chick starter until 8 weeks and I have read even up to 10 weeks. Then you can just mix what you have left with a a bag of flock raiser or grower formula, and feed it until it is gone.
