She got hurt when I moved the cage during the storm last night. She fell out from under the bottom and cannot stand up and not interested in eating or drinking. Not making noises. Barely lifts her neck, or seldom moves legs. Cannot stand or sit upright. No broken skin. Not sure what's wrong. I’ve isolated her and kept her under a heat lamp last night.

Any advice?

12 hours later she’s alive but mostly sleeping.

Sounds like severe internal injuries to me - there may not be much you can do. I'd give her Nutri-drench by mouth by syringe (just drip it across the side of her beak, she should lick it or suck it up). Small drips at a time inside her mouth, avoid the windpipe (there's a picture of how to syringe feed a chicken in here somewhere, you'll want to take a look at that). Otherwise, you can try raw egg (few hrs at a time, don't want it to get hot and spoil), water, moistened food.

If she doesn't perk up in a day or so, you may be looking at euthanasia. Hope she improves.

Hope others see this and comment.

Thank you for your valuable advise.

Sorry I don't have better news. I'm assuming you've looked for signs of a break or sprain, bruises, or other injury, and have found nothing. There's pics on this site of all of those, if you need a visual on what to look for. The search function is helpful, and the Similar Threads at the bottom of the page (not sure where it is on mobile devices) is also helpful. Hoping for the best for her.

Thank you for all the information and pointing me towards that resource. I haven’t noticed any type of injury. Other than she just can’t hold her self up. She did make a Lil peep just about five minutes ago, so hopefully that’s a good sign and she did take a little bit of water a few minutes ago.

Hello! I don't really have any advice other than doubling what FunClucks said. Keep an eye on her and keep us posted. Also, could you post a pic of her poop? Look for black or red in her poop because that could mean internal bleeding.

She did have a thick black tar-like poop. She must have had internal bleeding as suggested because she passed away about 48 hours after her injury.

I appreciate all your insight.
