Hi everyone! My 7 week old silkey (hatched from an egg) is having trouble walking. I just noticed it yesterday but could have been going on longer. We did an physical exam and couldn’t feel any bones broke or out of place. Called the vet but have not got a call back just yet. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you in advance. (I have a video, but won’t let me post)

How can I check for an ear infection? I did put vitamins in her water starting tonight.

What are you feeding?
Any lice/mites?

She may be having some issues with deficiency, neurological problem or it could be disease like Marek's.
Try giving her 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily along with some egg to see if that will help.

You'll have to look in the ear hole. Sometimes there will be nasty cheesy like gunk in there.

We isolated her in a small section of the coupe and are giving her vitamins. No ear infection as the user above stated. It’s almost as if her foot/leg can’t bear weight and it goes out to the side of her body. Thank you for the advise.

Unfortunately it could be Mareks, but it would be good to rule out an injury or leg bone deformity. Vitamin B complex would not hurts, 1/2 tablet daily crushed into some food or a little wter.
