The first Batch I hatched turned out to be mostly Cockerels, so when our Neighbors gave us a Dozen Eggs I tried to hatch 4 of them hoping for Pullets this time.
What Breeds/Genders do you think the Brown, White, and (Blue/Black?) ones are?
Sorry only one Picture of Brown one, it never holds still! 😅

Looks to be all pullets. The white one looks like a leghorn. The one that is drinking in the second to last photo is likely a Wyandotte just by the comb and that it is a little pink (Wyandottes get pink combs early) but I'd need a better photo of their body to be sure.

Whoops, I just realized it might help to mention that they all hatched from Brown Eggs. 🥚

So I tried asking Brave AI if there are any White Chickens that lay Brown Eggs. It's Answer was..... Interesting. 😂
I'm very new here, and very new to chickens. In fact, I got my first babies, 4 bantams, on Saturday. I am one happy chicken mama, lol.

So I've been lurking on these breed and gender threads, teaching myself how to spot the identifying markers of various breeds and which sex is which. I want to be able to ID my little ones over the next few weeks as they get bigger.

That's how I found this. As I said, total newbie so I won't guess on your birds, but they're gorgeous! And I was cracking up at the AI answer, and just had to reply. Thank you for the cute chicken pics and the hilarious AI this morning!
